On Monday, Electronic Arts announced a $55 billion deal to take the publisher behind massive franchises like Madden, The Sims, and Apex Legends private, selling to Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, Silver Lake Partners, and President Donald Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner’s Affinity Partners.
