Have you ever had a piece of content completely flop when you thought it would do well?

Have you ever had a piece of content completely flop when you thought it would do well, and what did you learn from it? I'm talking about those times when you put in tons of effort, felt really confident about what you created, hit publish, and then... crickets. No engagement, no shares, barely any views. It's such a deflating experience. Did it make you question your instincts about what your audience wants? Or did you figure out something specific about timing, format, or topic selection that you missed?

Have had a few that fit this scenario, never is a good feeling but it is a good stepping stone in what can be done for the future. It's probably a good idea to go through these flops early in the life of your YouTube journey. Long before gaining tens of thousands or more of subs, gives you a chance to experiment on your stuff before locking things down.

I still remember the YouTube short I posted early last year. I thought it’d go viral because I put in a lot of effort. It was a clean edit, catchy title, everything was so perfect. It barely hit 50 views . I was found refreshing the analytics like I was waiting for a bank alert. 😂 But I learned that sometimes the algorithm just doesn't work in my favour that day. Now, I don't stress again, I just post, move on and keep improving.

Exactly, I’ve been there too. I once made a skit that I knew would trend, even my friends said “this one will definitely grow !” Guess what? It flopped badly 😂. Sometimes the simple ones you post without thinking would give you the best views.
