Welcome to Indie Creator Community! By using our platform, you agree to the following terms, which are designed to ensure a respectful and productive environment for independent creators. Please review them carefully.

Community Standards

Respectful Communication: Members must maintain constructive dialogue and avoid disruptive behaviors including excessive promotional posting, trolling, or actions that harm the community experience.

Direct Message Guidelines: Unsolicited promotional messages are prohibited unless you have an established relationship, ongoing discussion, or clear permission from the recipient. We may review private communications when violations are reported.

Content Expectations: Hostile, discriminatory, or inappropriate material is forbidden. We maintain zero tolerance for content that targets individuals or groups based on personal characteristics.

Privacy Protection: Members must safeguard others' personal information and never share private details without explicit authorization.

Attribution Requirements: All external content must be properly credited to its original source. Plagiarism violates our community standards.

Artificial Intelligence Content: We discourage unreviewed AI-generated posts, particularly those copied directly without human oversight or personalization.

Legal Compliance: All activity must conform to applicable laws including copyright, privacy, and defamation regulations.

Signature Privileges: Custom signatures become available after contributing 10 approved posts to the community.

Platform Responsibilities

User Accountability: Indie Creator Community does not assume liability for member-generated content or expressed viewpoints. Content creators bear full responsibility for their contributions.

Membership Requirements: Our service requires users to be at least 18 years old. Registration confirms you meet this age threshold.

Content Monitoring: Our team may review all submissions and utilize third-party verification services. Avoid sharing sensitive or confidential information.

Acceptable Use: The platform cannot be used for illegal activities, harmful purposes, or offensive content. Members accept full responsibility for their submissions and resulting consequences.

Administrative Rights: We maintain authority to modify, remove content, or restrict platform access at our discretion without advance notification.

Intellectual Property

Usage License: Submitting content grants Indie Creator Community a permanent, non-exclusive license to utilize your material in connection with our platform operations. You maintain copyright ownership while allowing us to reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and distribute your content across any medium worldwide without additional compensation.

Distribution Rights: Posted content may be shared across various media channels and platforms without royalty obligations.

Account Management

Deletion Process: Account removal requests should be submitted via private message to administrators.

Identity Confirmation: Security verification may be required before processing deletion requests.

Data Handling: Approved account deactivation includes personal data removal where possible. Posted content such as forum discussions may remain to preserve conversation integrity.

Content Anonymization: Specific anonymization requests should be included in your deletion request.

Legal Retention: Certain data may be preserved for legal compliance, security purposes, or abuse prevention.

Permanent Action: Account deletions cannot be reversed once completed.

Terms Management

Modification Rights: These terms may be updated without prior notice. Continued platform use indicates acceptance of any revisions.

User Agreement: Registration and platform use constitute agreement to these terms. Disagreement with terms allows for service discontinuation and account closure requests.
