  1. Young generation is developing skills around AI, automation, digital skills like content creation, marketing, etc. I think old generation do not know how useful these skills are. I think a lot of skills are being lost such as photography (because there are AI tools to correct any flaws in your photos) or writing (because AI does it quick).
  2. Frankly speaking, I haven't felt burn out much. That's because I work on the projects that I am passionate about and I take as much assignments, or as much tasks, that I can handle without stressing myself. However, if I ever feel overwhelmed, I engage in activities that I find relaxing, for instance, watching movies and TV shows, playing games, etc.
  3. I have a simple rule, write what people are searching online, write on topics that are not much available but a lot of people try to find them online. However, I don't write to impress algorithm. I write for humans. Interestingly, if your content can attract human readers, search algorithm will also start pushing up your content.
  4. I have been on a lot of writers' community and the one that helped me find some success was a Facebook Group dedicated to the writers writing on Hubpages. It not only helped me improve my work but also gain engagement. However, when I stopped writing for Hubpages, I also became inactive in the community.
  5. These days I don't write a lot of articles as I am more focusing on forums and short form content. However, in the past I actively maintained a lot of blogs and I was also writing for many websites and clients. I was producing 2-3 articles every day. It was overwhelming.
  6. Creating for algorithm rarely works, I learned my lesson hard way. When I built my SEO skills through an online program, I started writing SEO content. Few months later I found, none of my SEO content were raking well, they did not even appear on top 5 pages. However, most of my content that published before I learned SEO were performing well on searches.
  7. I am not sure about groups as I haven't used them in a while, and when I was active on facebook groups they were either heavily controlled by admins or was being spammed by the users. However, based on my personal experience I can cay Facebook pages are still very useful provided you have a huge following.
  8. The best option is to use Etsy. It specializes on hand made items. Etsy is also one of the top ecommerce markets based on traffic. Selling on etsy is also relatively easy if you invest in advertising.
  9. It depends on what you are crafting. The material you use depends on what you are making. Also, your skills to make it. For example, you can make home made soap with few ingredients, it is sustainable method as there is a great demand for hand made soaps, but if you do not know how to do it, it becomes useless on your hands.
  10. There are a lot of things that I did not do. For instance, when I started publishing on youtube generating 10k views was the only monetization rule but sadly, I did not pay much attention to publishing on youtube. I was using video editor back in 2013 but I did not pay attention to mastering video editing. I wish I learned video editing and devoted my time and effort on youtube. Maybe I would have become a big creator by now.
  11. I use ChatGPT extensively, and I wouldn't call it underrated as it is widely used tool. From doing research to creating outline, content planning and even generating script, I use ChatGPT every day.
  12. Frankly speaking, there is no one in particular who inspired me to create content. Well, I was inspired by my father to pick writing as a career but he mainly did journalistic writing and I did write for newspaper for a long time. However, as an online content creator I started on my own, without any inspiration.
  13. Many years ago, I was an apprentice on Hubpages where I was paid to write. Since I was paid upfront I had a content calendar in place. I was writing at least 2 articles every week and it tool a lot of planning. When the apprentice ended and when they stopped paying upfront, I no longer had a content calendar. These days I create out of necessity and through a planning.
  14. A lot of people tell you that reaching monetization threshold or monetizing is the most difficult path and once you reach there money will pour. Sadly, no one tells you ever after monetizing, making money is still difficult. A lot of people cannot simply make decent money as a creator.
  15. I am at the age where I do not have interest in learning something just for pure passion. When I want to lean, I will see the commercial value, whether I can use the skill to make money. I have learned a lot o skills that are helping me to make money.
  16. I wouldn't say a disaster but I seem to have made a huge mistake. I started actively writing online in 2010 and built my portfolio on a lot of writing websites. sadly, a lot of websites shut down and I lost revenue source. I wish I had created my own blog in 2010.
  17. Frankly speaking, I haven't collaborated with other creators. It is not that I don't want to but it is really difficult to find the same vibes with other people. I am interested but I haven't found anyone.
  18. I think this depends on person to person. As far as I am concerned, I am more creative when there is pressure. My mind seems to work better when I am under pressure. Some people work better when they have unlimited options. My father worked as journalist and he was never efficient when he had to work in tight shift and short deadlines
  19. I have used many AI powered writing assistants. And based on my personal experience, AI powered writing assistants are must for content creators. From finding ideas and brainstorming to generating outlines, descriptions, keywords, you can use them to improve your work flow. You can even generate entire content, if you like.
  20. I am a free guy, I mean I like to use free resources. However, I also use a few premium tools as sometimes free tools aren't just enough.
  21. There are many digital tools that I use for my work as well as personal life. If I have to name one that would be Discord. I use it for professional communication. I connect with clients and customers. I also use ChatGPT to improve my workflow.
  22. Canva is good. I haven't used Affinity but they say it has everything that a premium software like Photoshop has. Affinity is completely free. It even offers premium features offered by Canva.
  23. I go to Pixabay, Freepix and Pexels. When I cannot find the photos I am looking for I use AI to generate image.
  24. Well, I am not much into video editing but whenever I have to I always use Da Vinci resolve. It is free and has every features that you can think of. In my experience, it is as good ad adobe Premiere.
  25. These days a lot of social sites are evolving as a business platforms, you can not only sell from your pages, you can even create a dedicated store, for instance, you can create a store on facebook, Tiktok, Instagram. etc. Since setting store on social site is free and reaching customers is also easy as they have a lot of registered user, social commerce seems to be taking over ecommerce markets. What do you think?
