Another thing to think about is the use of social networks. I've seen a fair amount of indie devs use Bluesky but, there are still a large majority that are on X/Twitter and I'm wondering if they see their stats being higher there than going to a more reputable platform?

You can also join places like Reddit to help spread the word about your game! Also be sure to join the support forums for whichever engine you're using for your game, that can help bring in more exposure to your game. Discord is another great place to promote your indie games on, there's plenty of servers out there.

If I'm a developer, I would aim at establishing a community for my game on social media, forums, and make contact with game content creators and influencers for collaborations.
