  1. I'm looking for the right IT tools for my technology startup, and it's honestly overwhelming with so many options available. From what I've researched, cloud platforms like AWS seem essential for hosting and scaling, while tools like GitHub for code management and Slack for team communication appear crucial. I'm particularly interested in cost-effective solutions that can grow with us, including project management tools like Asana and analytics platforms. What tools have worked best for your startup's specific industry or business model?

  2. Recent advancements in AI, especially in generative AI and explainable AI, are truly transformative. Generative models like large language models (LLMs) and image generators (e.g., GPT-4, DALL-E 3) have made incredible strides in producing human-like text, stunning visuals, and even code, pushing the boundaries of automated content creation. Simultaneously, explainable AI (XAI) tools are evolving to provide much-needed transparency into these complex "black box" models, offering insights into their decision-making processes through techniques like SHAP and LIME. This dual progression is crucial for building trust and ensuring responsible AI deployment. But how are these a…

  8. Now that the dust has settled from the latest gaming showcases, which reveals and trailers are you still excited about? What disappointed you? Did any indie games steal the show from the AAA presentations? I think for me there was the game Out of Words, which is a two person style game similar to It Takes Two. I really liked the hand crafted look to the characters and the overall world.

  9. Just finished diving deep into Call of Cthulhu, and wow... this Lovecraftian psychological horror has been living rent-free in my head since I started playing. For those unfamiliar, you play as Edward Pierce, a down-on-his-luck private investigator who gets pulled into a supernatural mystery on the ominous Darkwater Island. What caught my attention: • The atmosphere is absolutely nailed - Using Unreal Engine 4, the environmental storytelling in that mansion is *chef's kiss* • Deep skill system that actually matters - Your choices in Spot Hidden, Psychology, Strength, and Eloquence genuinely change what you discover • Smart audio design - Instead of constant background mu…

  18. When I recently did a YouTube search on just the single keyword “Bluesky” the results were completely filled with video after video of “Bluesky is dying” or “Bluesky death of being woke.” I understand that negative or even hate-filled clickbait will be gathering those sweet sweet clicks and watch-time but, is there a movement of Bluesky users going back to extwitter? I left extwitter way back in 2022 among those who saw the writing on the wall with Elon taking control of the platform. It was always becoming a cesspool long before he came on board and with him at the helm, it quickly dove into reaches of even worse filth. Hate speech being pushed through as normative, alon…

  19. Community Center · Started by Ravenfreak,

Greetings everyone my name is Ravenfreak, feel free to call me Raven for short if you'd like! I'm a 35 year old guy who enjoys listening to music, programming from time to time, playing video games, and I own a few websites including a Youtube channel. I've been making videos since 2008, but honestly haven't done much with my channel until 2022 when I started unboxing Retro Game Treasure boxes. I also talk about video games and tech, and enjoy making challenge videos in Pokemon games. My username comes from Raven from Teen Titans btw. Nice to meet you all!

  21. Community Center · Started by JoshB,

How do you do and welcome on in to our new home on the internet. I'm Josh and I've been a live streamer/content creator for close to 10 years now. From starting out my simple beginnings streaming on Twitch before exploring the alternatives of the day. I enjoy finding these new places that are either just starting out or, have been around for a bit. It's the excitement of seeing what these platforms are trying to accomplish in being different than the status quo. Where by simply trying to copy Twitch, isn't what creatives are looking for. They're looking for something that is similar but is offering a newer, fresh approach to the creative and viewer experience. One thing I…
